About

From the tiniest molecules inside a cell to the biggest galaxies in the universe, every single part of the world around us is awe-inspiring. This sense of wonder when studying the natural world has impacted artists for ages, while in return, science has benefited from artistic explorations that challenge our current thinking. Creativity and science go hand in hand and I truly believe that art and science are synergistic.

My grandfather taught me how to work with clay and it became clear that this would become my primary way of channeling my passion for science into art. It allows me to create what I call ‘3D paintings’: sculptures on wooden panels that can be mounted on the wall. Through this process I make tributes to human anatomy and science as a means to look inside ourselves and appreciate nature’s beautiful complexity.
